HHC Bad Side Effects Remedy How To Fix Handle Reddit Effective Well Safe

HHC Effects and How To Remedy Bad Side Effects

There is no denying that hexahydrocannabiphorol (HHC-P) is a powerful cannabinoid.  And, that means that the risk of the very mild side effects associated with cannabis is higher, especially if you’re new to the cannabinoid or have a low THC tolerance overall.

The good news is that none of these side effects are considered severe, and better yet, there are tried-and-true methods to remedy them so that they don’t get in the way of a deeply pleasurable high.

Can HHC’s Side Effects Be Dangerous?

Anyone with a low tolerance and/or high sensitivity to psychoactive cannabinoids may get worried that taking too much will lead to disastrous consequences.

The thing that is important to keep in mind is that these cannabinoids are nontoxic to adult human bodies, so you will not experience life-threatening side effects because you got too high.  These cannabinoids are well tolerated by the human body and then metabolize relatively quickly to leave the system in a short period.

We know that getting too high can make you worry that something is wrong – maybe your heart is suddenly racing, you feel dizzy, or you feel so out of it that you’re afraid you’ll feel that way forever.  But, just remember that your body can handle these cannabinoids because you have an endocannabinoid system (ECS), which prevents toxic effects from occurring.

Note: Poorly made HHC products, such as those that use low-grade hexahydrocannabiphorol, have a purity level below 90%, use other cheap ingredients & fillers that are mixed with the HHC, and/or simply fake HHC products, do bring with them a higher chance of not only different side effects, but the potential to get sick after using that said supposedly “authentic or fresh HHC product”.

HHC Side-Effects You Need to Be Aware of

There are some more temporary, mild side effects that you might experience though, due to low tolerance.  While simply taking a moderate dose according to the label can prevent them from happening, they can happen on occasion, and it’s best to have an idea of what you can do should a side effect impede your ability to enjoy the HHC product you’ve taken.

Side Effect #1: Getting Too High

We’ve all experienced getting too high at one time or another, by taking a little more of a psychoactive cannabinoid than we planned to, and suddenly we are feeling too high. Maybe we suddenly feel paranoid, anxious, or claustrophobic, or feel disconnected from our bodies, and too deep in our thoughts.  Because HHC is so incredibly potent, it’s all the easier to get higher than you had planned for.

The Solution: There are a few ways to deal with the effects of getting too high, and they mainly revolve around consuming something that jumpstarts your nervous system to “wake you up.”  Think of a sugary snack, fruit juice, or coffee, all of which get you back into a more alert, mentally clear state that can offset a lot of the cerebral effects that may make you feel uncomfortably “out of it.”

Side Effect #2: Dry Mouth

Cottonmouth is an HHC classic side effect that many people get – even heavy cannabinoid users – and while it’s not dangerous, it can be annoying.  Keep in mind that a very dry mouth is not caused by dehydration, but rather by the cannabinoid’s effects on cannabinoid receptors that control the production of saliva.  The effect is temporary, but you’ll likely want to do something about it regardless because having a dry mouth is uncomfortable.

The Solution: Easy – drink a glass of water.  All that you need to do to combat a dry mouth is provide it with moisture, so keep a glass or bottle of water nearby and drink as needed.  This will also activate the salivary glands so that you can produce more saliva.

Side Effect #3: Dizziness/Lightheadedness

One of the things that happen when we’re high with HHC is our blood pressure gets lower.  This isn’t to a dangerous extent by any means, but those who have a low tolerance may feel uncomfortable with what happens when their blood pressure gets lower, which can include feelings of dizziness or lightheadedness.  A person may also feel shaky, look pale or feel like their hands and feet are cold.

The Solution: Again, sugar is your friend.  Low blood pressure can be quickly remedied by something sweet, like fruit juice or a cookie.  That’s because it brings up your blood sugar levels quickly, and your blood pressure will go up as well.  It’s also the reason why you’re usually given something sugary after drawing blood.

Side Effect #4: Dry Eyes

Most of us know that classic dry-eye effect that comes with getting high – maybe the eyes turn red, or they fail to produce any moisture at all.  This HHC effect isn’t just annoying for us physically, but we don’t necessarily want to look stoned for hours while we navigate the public world.  It’s the result of the cannabinoid interacting with cannabinoid receptors that control the moisture level of our eyes, so it’s not a cause for concern.

The Solution: Carry saline eye drops with you, which are formulated specifically for dry eyes.  A couple of drops in each eye is all that you need to get the relief you’re looking for.

Side Effect #5: Grogginess

Feeling groggy or sleepy after taking an HHC psychoactive cannabinoid is very common.  Cannabinoids work on neurotransmitters in the brain that control our energy levels, our mental alertness, and even our sleep/wake cycle, so it’s far from unusual to suddenly feel a deep urge to lie down and close your eyes.  Of course, this can be a problem if you’re trying to stay awake because you have something to do in a couple of hours.

The Solution: If taking a nap just isn’t an option, reach for some coffee, ideally when the high starts to fade away.  This will give your nervous system the boost that it needs to feel alert, peppy, and energized.

These Side Effects Don’t Always Have to Stop You From Using HHC Again

Although there’s a risk of side effects when taking any cannabinoid, fortunately, you can remedy them pretty easily.  Of course, you can also prevent most of them by simply following the directions on the label, to know that you’re taking what’s considered the perfect amount for your tolerance level.

Also, if you do experience any of these side effects, it’s recommended that you speak with your doctor since they’re medically licensed to give you advice as to what you should then do. At Binoid, we make sure to offer instructions on all HHC products, as that will help you avoid these common side effects.
