Orange Crush Cannabis Strain Basic Profile

Orange Crush cannabis strain is possibly a 50/50 hybrid, which would mean that it’s 50% sativa and 50% indica.  It was very strategically bred by taking the sativa influence of OG Kush and mixing it with the indica genes from Orange Bud, to offer what was set out to be one of the best hybrids out there.  We say that it’s “possibly” a 50/50 hybrid because this has yet to actually be proven, as the breeders who originally crafted the strain never actually revealed this information.

  • Yields somewhere between 13-22% THC, meaning that in many cases it’s a moderately potent option.
  • Has less than 0.5% CBD.

Orange Crush Strain Physical Characteristics

Orange Crush strain buds look like little Christmas trees, with a bushy, dense appearance and conical, tapered shape at the other side of the stem.  The buds are lime-green, and quite vibrant, especially thanks to being coated in bright orange hairs that make them look as though they have an overall orange hue.

Orange Crush Cannabis Aroma and Flavor

As you may have guessed, with Orange Crush products, it’s all about the citrus.  In fact, the citrus really dominates here, without much else going on.

  • The aroma is extremely strong, smelling of sweet oranges, and this instantly draws you in.
  • The flavor has more tangy notes, with that sugary orange taste blending with sour lemons to supply a more complex flavor profile.

Orange Crush Cannabis Effects

Orange Crush vapes and dabs can vary in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content quite a bit, so just keep in mind that how high you get off of it can really depend on how much THC happens to be in your batch.  Ultimately, the strain is known for its more indica-leaning effects, which could indicate more indica-dominance than most people think there is.

The strain quickly gives you a powerful euphoria effect – very powerful, in fact – which can make you feel like you’re on top of the world.  This effect makes you feel absolutely at peace with the world, and you may notice a smile on your face that sticks around for the duration of the high, while you gradually feel lazier and lazier, giving into a total state of ease in which your mind feels negative thoughts slowly drain away.

At the same time, a body high starts building, which makes your muscles feel heavier and heavier, while a warm and tingly sensation works its way down the spine to make you feel like you’re floating on a cloud.  This effect makes you feel drowsy, and that is often the exact effect that users are looking for, so no complaints there.  Expect to find yourself struggling to feel the motivation to do much at all, as the warm waves wash over you.  Basically, couchlock is a near inevitability after a certain point, especially if you were a bit heavy-handed when partaking.

Basically, Orange Crush is clearly an evening strain, since it could very well knock you out after a while.  If you want something to ease yourself into bedtime with, this could be the one.  During the daytime, it can interfere a lot with your productivity.  Take note that it’s also a very munchy strain, so you may find yourself snacking.

Growing Orange Crush Cannabis Strain

Like many strains of the Crush variety, Orange Crush prefers a dry climate and moderate temperatures of about 70 to 80 degrees.  If you can’t offer that based on where you live, you can grow it inside successfully, but the yield can be notably less, while outdoor growing allows for a high yield.  Flowering time is about 7 to 9 weeks.

The plant wants a nutrient-rich soil, and needs lots of support, such as a trellis, since it can grow very tall.  You will need to thin out the canopy to avoid pests and fungus and engage in regular topping.  Indoors, it can grow hydroponically.

Orange Crush: A Balanced Hybrid with Uniquely Soothing Effects

Orange Crush products is a really blissful strain that’s easy to fall in love with.  Because it’s not super potent, beginners can enjoy it just as much as seasoned enthusiasts.  And, it has a fresh flavor that always hits the spot before the effects set in.  This strain is available at Binoid in the form of our THC-P Wax Dabs, which highlight Orange Kush like never before by concentrating the strain to enhance its potency by a strong amount, all while featuring an ultra-potent serving of tetrahydrocannabiphorol, the most intoxicating cannabinoid in all of hemp.
