What Is THCP-O Acetate?

If you’re a fan of the most powerfully psychoactive cannabinoids in the hemp plant, then there’s a new cannabinoid that you’ll want to add to your list: THCP-O, aka tetrahydrocannabiphorol-O Acetate or THCP-O Acetate

As you will see, this is a modified version of the hugely popular tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THC-P) cannabinoid, chemically modified using the same method that converts THC into THC-O-Acetate (THC-O), to offer an even more impressive high for those who crave potency when it comes to their cannabinoid routine.

Not only does Binoid have the strongest THC-P vape carts on the market, their website is super easy to use and even offers fast, free shipping.

What Is THCP-O Acetate?

Again, THCP-O Acetate is the acetylated form of THC-P, with THC-P being the most potent cannabinoid in all of hemp.  THC-P acts on CB1 receptors at 31x the rate of delta 9 THC, which is why its high is about 10x as strong.

What makes THCP-O different from THC-P is that this 7-term side chain cannabinoid is combined with an acetate to enhance its bioavailability even further.  If you’ve read up on THC-O before, then this process will sound familiar.  Mixing a cannabinoid with an acetate changes its chemical structure, and therefore enhances how efficiently it “sticks” to CB1 receptors in the brain that are responsible for the high we get from THC.

What also happens is we end up with a cannabinoid that boasts far superior chemical stability, meaning that it’s far less likely to degrade when exposed to heat.

What Is The High Like With THCP-O Acetate?

As you may have guessed, THCP-O’s high is, well, strong.  That’s the inevitable result of adding an acetate to what’s already considered to be the most intoxicating cannabinoid in all of hemp.  The high is likely to be far more powerful than THC-P in its natural form, with some estimating that it’s 30x as strong as delta 9’s.

Not only that, but the high seems to bring about a feeling of euphoria that goes above and beyond what we’re used to from other cannabinoids, all while seeming to offer a longer-lasting high as well.  Exactly how long hasn’t been determined, but many say that THCP-O edibles can provide psychoactive effects that go beyond 8 hours.

Where To Buy THCP-O Products And Vapes Online

THCP-O is not quite out yet, but when it does come out, you want to be careful, since some companies could be producing low-quality or even fake products, knowing that there’s a growing demand and little supply. However, for now you can buy THC-O products from trusted online brands such as Binoid CBD and Delta-8. They have brand new 92% THCo vapes that come in 4 amazing strains and you can get right on their website for an amazing price.

In fact, Binoid is one of the first brands to create THC-O products and vapes that are extremely potent and enjoyable. On top of their amazing product, they have amazing customer service, THC-O vape prices are the lowest we have seen, and just overall one of the best places to buy THC-O online

How Much THCP-O Should I Take?

There isn’t yet a standard dosing guide for it.  Given its strong potency, we can’t assume that you can compare the ideal milligram amount to that of, say, delta 8 THC even.  So, when it does come out, we recommend following the directions on the label.  The manufacturer is required to provide a dosing guideline based on their knowledge of how strong their product is.

THCP-O Dosage Chart And Guide:

As we learn more about THCP-O, we’ll have much more specific dosing guidelines available.  What we can say is that since the cannabinoid is so potent, you don’t want to take as many milligrams in one sitting as you would a milder cannabinoid like delta 8. Because PHC is so strong, doses look to be small amounts, but that is because of how strong the compound is.

Comparing THCP-O potency to other cannabinoids, however, we can offer a general idea of how much you should take whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced user, regardless of the product type that’s available above:

  • Beginners THCP-O dosing: 1mg-20mg
  • Intermediate THCP-O Users dosing: 20mg-80mg
  • Advanced THCP-O Users dosing: 80mg+
  • What Else Is THCP-O Acetate Capable of?

Of course, as is the case with any new cannabinoid, it’s hard to get into its potential therapeutic uses without clinical research available to reference.  THCP-O Acetate just hasn’t been studied by cannabis researchers yet, so there’s no evidence to point to when discussing what types of benefits this cannabinoid may have outside of getting people high.

But, at the same time, THCP-O really is just a stronger form of THC-P.  So, if you already experience benefits from taking THC-P, like pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, relief from nausea and appetite, all of which are properties associated with tetrahydrocannabiphorol, you can basically expect those same effects, only stronger.

How Much THCP-O Acetate Should I Take?

THCP-O Acetate is a completely new cannabinoid – so new, in fact, that most hemp enthusiasts have never even heard of it.  That being said, there isn’t yet a standard dosing guide for it.  Given its intense potency, we can’t assume that you can compare the ideal milligram amount to that of, say, delta 8, a far milder psychoactive cannabinoid.  Because of how strong it is, the ideal milligram amount is likely much lower than that of milder cannabinoids, and is likely comparable to pure THC-P.

So, if you’re interested in trying a THCP-O product, what we recommend is that you follow the directions on the label.  The manufacturer is required to provide a dosing guideline based on their knowledge of how strong their product is.

Will THCP-O Fail A Drug Test?

As a rule of thumb, any time you encounter a cannabinoid with “THC” in the name, you should assume that it puts you at risk of failing a drug test.  Why?  Because all THC-based cannabinoids are metabolized by an enzyme called THC-COOH, which is what standard drug tests are seeking to identify in a person’s urine.

Because THCP-O is particularly potent, there’s good reason to believe that it’s actually more likely to fail a drug test after taking this cannabinoid than it is after taking delta 9 THC.

    Is THCP-O Safe?

As for the safety of THCP-O Acetate, again we have no studies to refer to.  But, there’s no reason to believe it’s unsafe in any way.  THCP-O is structurally similar to many cannabinoids we’ve taken over the years, and to date, there has not been a single toxic compound found in the hemp plant, even in its isolated and concentrated form.  So, THCP-O likely comes with the same mild, temporary side effects as other forms of THC, which include:

    • Dry mouth
    • Dry eyes
    • Dizziness
    • Fatigue
    • Drowsiness
    • Impaired motor function

Can I Overdose On THCP-O Acetate?

Of course, when it comes to taking a new cannabinoid, you want to make sure that it’s ultimately safe, and that you know what to do to avoid potential side effects.  And, because THCP-O Acetate is an acetated cannabinoid, some people may worry that this implies a greater risk of side effects than a cannabinoid that has been “left alone,” so to speak.

In reality, though, acetated cannabinoids are not associated with side effects or risks any more than “regular” cannabinoids like CBD, delta 8 THC, and delta 9 THC.  Ultimately, cannabinoids are considered nontoxic to the body as they are stored by the endocannabinoid system.

However, taking too much of any psychoactive cannabinoid can cause some mild, short-lived but ultimately non-life-threatening side effects, such as the following:

    • Dizziness
    • Grogginess/drowsiness
    • Anxiety/paranoia
    • Dry eyes
    • Dry mouth
    • Confusion
    • Lack of physical coordination
    • Forgetfulness
    • Increased appetite
    • Low blood pressure

    Is THCP-O Acetate Legal?

THCP-O Acetate is a legal cannabinoid according to federal law, in spite of how intoxicating it is.  THCP-O complies with the Farm Bill, which passed in 2018 to legalize any hemp derivative that contains a maximum of 0.3% delta 9 THC.  THCP-O is not delta 9 THC, and that’s why it can be legally sold in stores and online.

However, a number of states have banned psychoactive cannabinoids derived from hemp, and what this means is that THCP-O is likely illegal in:

    • Alaska
    • Arizona
    • Arkansas
    • Colorado
    • Delaware
    • Hawaii (Oral and Inhalable Products)
    • Idaho
    • Iowa
    • Mississippi
    • Montana
    • Nevada
    • New York
    • North Dakota
    • Oregon
    • Rhode Island
    • Utah
    • Vermont
    • Washington

Types Of Products That THCP-O Comes In

THCP-O is incredibly new to the market, and so the large majority of hemp companies don’t yet carry it.  And, the variety of product types is quite limited at the moment, again because it’s so new.  Here are the product types you’ll find when searching for THCP-O.

    • THCP-O Vape Cartridges: THCP-O vape cartridges are not unlike the vape carts that many hemp users are already familiar with.  These 510-threaded cartridges come in different strains and use a vape oil containing pure THCP-O-acetate isolate along with terpenes.
    • THCP-O TincturesTHCP-O tinctures will also likely emerge, diluting the cannabinoid extract in a carrier oil and offering a variety of milligram strengths for sublingual administration.
    • THCP-O Disposable Vapes: THCP-O disposable vapes are also just like the disposables that many are used to, with the only difference being that the active cannabinoid is THCP-O-acetate.  Also available in various strains, they offer a maintenance-free alternative to the above vaping setup.

THCP-O Acetate: Perfect For A Powerful And Long-Lasting High

THCP-O Acetate shows off just how far cannabis technology has come along in recent years, offering a whole new way to experience a powerful, euphoric high derived legally from the hemp plant.  It’s safe to say that this cannabinoid is recommended for experienced THC users who aren’t afraid of a high that challenges our understanding of what THC is capable of.  Now that THCP-O is making its way onto the market, keep a lookout for the products that are coming to Binoid.
