What are THCA Diamond Dabs?

THCA Diamond dabs are concentrates of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid and, in many cases, other cannabis compounds as well.  The most common type of THCA dabs you will find are THCA diamonds – ultra purified crystals made from concentrating THCA into its purest form.  These diamonds may or may not be paired with sauce, which is a liquid concentrate that’s super high in terpenes, to add flavor and effects to the product, while allowing it to be sold in a number of strains.

What are the Basics of Dabbing with THCA?

Dabbing is a way to take in cannabinoids to get the most potent results possible, and so, can be done with any cannabinoid.  THCA dabs are particularly popular because again, the results mimic the effects of weed.

The process that’s actually taking place when we dab is the flash-vaporization of concentrated forms of cannabinoids.  This is done with a dabbing device (analog or electronic).  The process is relatively simple: you heat the dab nail, chamber, or banger, all of which can be compared to the bowl of a pipe, to a specific, very high temperature.  Then, you place your concentrate, or dab, onto the area you just heated, so that the concentrate almost instantly melts into an oil that vaporizes easily.

Because of how potent THCA concentrates are, and how high the temperatures get, dabbing is not recommended for newbies.  The high is so strong that it may overwhelm people who don’t yet have a high THC tolerance.

How to Dab with THCA Diamonds Properly

To enjoy a THCA dabbing session, you need to follow the basic principles of dabbing.  As you will see, it’s not as simple as, say, taking a puff off of a disposable, or eating a gummy.  But, with some practice, it’ll become second nature in no time, and the ultra-powerful effects are well worth the effort, if you ask us.

Step #1: Know Your THCA Diamond Tolerance

Step #2: Select Your Hardware

• Nectar Collectors: Nectar collectors look like long straws with a titanium tip at the end.  The dab is held in a separate dish, and the device’s tip is heated and drawn over the dabs while the vapor is inhaled into the lungs.  Nectar collectors are usually more portable than dab rigs.

• Dab Pens: Dab pens are electronic devices that are a lot like dry herb vaporizers, with a chamber for the concentrates.  They’re very portable.

• Desktop Vaporizers: Desktop vaporizers are large electronic vaporizer devices that usually come with a lot of advanced features, and even deliver a lot of vapor per draw.

Step #3: Choose Your THCA Dab

Step #4: Pay Attention to Temperature

Step #6: Understand How to Maintain Your Setup 

Maintaining your THCA dabbing setup is very important, as a dirty device means bad flavor and compromised airflow if enough gunk accumulates.
